Hey Everyone Well.. Yesterday evening I happened to remember it was wing night at my fave pizza buffet, so we quickly scratched having that beef stroganoff I was telling you about! I already had the meat cut and the stuff out including all the pots and pans ! We'll have it tonight though- and I am so happy to not have to do any prep work so there is that! I keep saying that pinterest and my cookbooks and myself are going to have to have a meeting and soon - need recipes seriously! We stopped by Walmart on the way home for a few things- thank goodness I had a gift card because we had to buy a power strip for the BiG Mac and yeah... you can just spend $50 in a drop of a hat in walmart anyways you know? David actually got me an old original surface tablet on some random deal site for old electronics - I forgot to write it - haven't had it but a few days- It was funny because he knew it had a keyboard and turns out the keyboard was pink. I didn’t choose the ho hum life..
Hey Everyone I am doing my absolute best to get something going today- I swear I am! David and I ended up going to bed around 10 ish last night after watching PLL and OMG PLL Ya'll I saw that coming - the part where someone died I was like omg omg there is the wedding ..and oh wow I think she's gonna die. It was so SELENA with that bouquet too! Anyways, it was well after 1 when I went to sleep and I probably got about 2hrs of sleep. Then it was awake and cat nap right on till about 5 when David got up. This is when we found out David's check wasn't in the bank yet (HELLO RENT IS DUE NO? of course!) but I couldn't even really sleep right this morning ugh! I did a few random small things but ...slow going! I am serious I think I am sleeping too much and I might have to start staying up at night /getting up when he does or something. When I was a little girl I didn't get to go to sleep away camp or day camp, and I am not really sure why. I would say it was because of the way I was brought up and the church I attended - but our church actually had a camp but I think it was really far away. I did get to stay with my grandparents in the summer and on a few other breaks over the years,but I think I might have actually enjoyed getting to go to a sleep away camp at some point when I think about it in retrospect- which probably has to do with watching the parent trap so much as a child! So when I found out that there was this app that helps with all the things that your child goes away to camp and even goes as far as helping with the labeling and even sending the items to the camp if that is allowed- well I know that a lot of you all who read the blog have kids and this might be something you would be interested in, so I had to share! Hey Everyone Well.. the weekend seemed VERY long ! I think it is because David and his brother went to that race on Saturday and they left at like 8 a/m and it was way after 6 before they got back- it might have been a bit later. I just know I was hungry and was waiting on him to get home to go get us something to eat at that point ha ha...and I was on the phone with my grandma for like 2.5 hours at that point :) My mom and dad came home that day but they came back through the nc mountains so they could go to the bee place for bees- did I tell you they had a swarm last week? that was crazy! my dad swears they weren't mad but I don't really believe him even though he didn't get stung at all when putting them in a new hive so I guess we will sort of take his word on it even though he did have on his bee suit right? ha ha. Hey Everyone Well yesterday I woke up with a wonky tummy and some nausea but it wasn't too horrible so I was like whatever. I know that my mom and I had made plans for a quick run to Aldi- god if there are Aldi gods out there I would LOVE to do a sponsored post for them sometime lol. I love that it is so reasonably priced and I can get a cart full of groceries including like meat and stuff for like under 100 bucks most of the time! I think my total yesterday was like 80 and that included a pack of hamburger patties, bag of chicken breast, bag of chicken tenderloins. I also like that everything is always in the same place and I can be in and out in under an hour. So my mom was really busy with packing to go to my grandmas- they were going to go put a roof on the house up there (they are also having a roof put on the house here but - yeah let me cover one at a time right? ) So I was def. figuring we would run in aldi grab things and be back home. Hey Everyone! Well.. Greetings from the VERY rainy south! I think it has pretty well rained since late saturday night -thankfully today is just cloudy/dreary - but it makes me so zzzzz! The weekend was pretty fast and furious and was mostly spent watching tv, eating take out from anywhere that we could get to deliver (which isn't that many places where we are unfortunately!) but it was a good relaxing time so that was nice :) I know that this coming weekend David has tickets for the drag race and his brother and him have went to it like EVERY year that I can remember but his brother might not get to go so I think he's gonna get his dad to go. He wants me to go but Drag racing just isn't my thing AT ALL. I will watch Nascar all day long but blah on drag racing! I was thinking I would go over to my moms on saturday but they are supposed to be going to my grandmas so I guess I will get an extra day to myself this week! wahoo right? ha ha.
