Hey Everyone Well, I haven't updated since before the 4th...oopsie lol. I can actually name at least 2 or 3 days I never even had the computer out, if that helps at all lol. on the 4th I scrounged us together our own cookout with hamburgers/hotdogs and some fixin's... it was weird to have David home on thursday then he worked Friday and bam, here came the weekend lol. Saturday was pretty boring - we just didn't seem to have anything we wanted to get into- plus it was dreary.  I turned it around late that evening though by grabbing some mcdonalds ;) I have a mad thing for mcdonalds lately.. not sure why- I have always been a mcdonalds person but lately OMG.. lets just say honestly i'm not sure I wasn't born with an mcdonalds apple pie in my mouth lol. Hey Everyone I am in the WEIRDEST mood today and it probably will be a good day for me to stay offline for the most part.. I might seriously clean out those paid posts I was talking about yesterday (shouldn't be too many) and maybe work on cleaning out my gmail (um.. big maybe there lol) I am a big email hoarder if you can't tell! Anyways, I don't know how to really describe my mood ... i'm kinda a big GRR but then down deep i'm totally o.k so yah, I don't know what is up - we'll just use my fave excuse HEAT and leave it at that! *sigh* I think today starts the dog days of summer so there you go (That was always a big thing with my family when I was growing up- My granny and grandma were all about the signs and dog days and such!) Hey Everyone So I am cheating with dinner in a way tonight lol. I am not hungry so instead of making lettuce wraps which would kind of be a waste, I am just going to make buffalo wraps sans wraps- in other words some buffalo chicken strips that I am about to pop in the convection oven with some rice and some homemade ranch that I whipped both of those up way while ago. I just need to remember to pop the ground chicken for the lettuce wraps in the freezer because I just bought it Sunday but apparently it needs frozen or ate by today!  I have that kind of thing happen a lot from publix it seems - we have seen several really out of date products there! I mean granted I don't eat cheese but we saw some cheese sticks (like string cheese) there that was 8 months out of date! Anyways, the food will be fine with out a freaking tortilla for god sakes! Hey Everyone Well, It is almost 10 a/m and we are at 90 in the shade ... I already know I don't feel like making lettuce wraps for dinner lol but I don't really know what else to make so.. ummmm... lol. Yesterday it was like 105 at 6 and I was like um just eat a tv meal or a burrito or something, but that won't work 2 days in a row. If I could think of something cheap , quick and easy I do have the car so I could dash across to publix or go the back way to walmart (not likely on that I have developed a strong hate of walmart) but I just am not coming up with anything so... BLAH STUPID HEAT !! and why do you have to cook every day? lol. I always say i;m content with an icecream or a salad and yesterday that is what I had- a strawberry shortcake bar! Hey Everyone The weekend went by in a huge blur! Saturday was the pool party and we actually stayed up there quite a while- We kind of snagged a table inside though lol. My eye still hates the light a little bit if i'm paying attention- plus it was so hot and we aren't really social lol. The weird thing is though, we generally do raffles and such to win prizes and it was on the invitation that there would be prizes but we never got to that part so I don't know if they did it after we left or forgot or what the deal was. Yesterday I had to go get some stuff for David's lunch and some dog food for Mars... I managed to get everything I needed except- LUNCH STUFF FOR ME lol.. I Have a few random things I can have but I totally meant to get some meat/bread or a bag of salad mix and somehow forgot... Right now I would DIE for some mcdonalds. Hey Everyone Today I am just trying to get up and GO GO GO and do whatever holds my interest. I would love to sit and read obviously , but I can do that ANY TIME so.. (Or any time except when you have a chemical burn twice in your eye and are trying to heal and wait for new glasses.. ) I know that I am more to do things around the house on a week day though instead of the weekend sooo.. I think I might hit up some of my dresser drawers and straighten them up /clean them out. I must be o.k if i'm willing to do that ha ha. I also would like to shave.. because tomorrow we are having the pool party here at the apt place. I generally go to this for not the pool but free food and adult beverages (last year we had mimosas and beer.. lol) I guess not really free I pay a lot to live here so might as well enjoy it right?
