Gifts For Foodies

A foodie is defined as someone who has an extreme interest in food. The creation of food, how they blend together, creating tastes and flavors, how to match food with drinks… the whole eating process, essentially.   The truth is, if you know a foodie… you probably already know all of the above. If you’re not a foodie, however, that can be quite tricky. How can you select something that you have little interest in? And how can you know you’re not duplicating what they already have, without finding an excuse to hunt through their kitchen?   You Could… Go For The Basics ...

midweek update

Hey Everyone Well.. This week is F L Y I N G by! I mean the days are kinda slow- especially today and yesterday with the dreary weather but I won't complain because I am hopeful it will wash the heck out of all of this pollen that is killing everyone I know! I don't have too awful much going on this week- like I say I have been fighting allergies and my rib is kinda messed up again but it seems to be getting better. This weekend past I admit was a little bit boring because no racing either day and it was a long weekend. I have never been one for Easter because of my past religous experiences as a child ( there would make some great post ideas btw lol)  I kind of would not have minded to go to the communion service on ...

remember that vague thing from last summer?

Hey Everyone Well.... You know last summer I wrote a whole bunch of vague posts and never let you all know what was going on because I didn't want to jinx it , and then after the fact it didn't happen? Then I never did say what happened? well..wait for it because I am gonna lay it out for you Before I go on- My mom finally decided to just be nonchalant and i've talked to her a couple of times since yesterday around 4 pm so.. we'll just let the bygones be bygones. Ok Last summer David and I had the good luck to be able to trade in the car and get a brand new one - which I was shocked with the bankruptcy and all of that but there wasn't much of a problem- we got a little bit of higher interest but in general it was pretty easy. Right after that my mom and dad got on this getting us a house kick AGAIN. I think this was like the 2nd time - honestly I can't even remember they are always bringing that up but with the bankruptcy and our crap credit and everything ...well. yeah it ...

What are the other varieties of mule drinks?

True to its name, the Moscow Mule, with its bright citrus and spicy ginger flavors, is anything but meek. While the first half of its name was inspired by its vodka base, the second half is said to have been a reference to its delightfully strong ginger kick. If you're one of the legions of people who just can't get enough of the Moscow Mule, we've got good news for you: it's not the only one of its kind. Mules, also known as bucks, are an old-fashioned name for a family of cocktails. There are countless variations, but to be considered a mule, the drink must include ginger beer and citrus juice. Popularized during the early and mid-Twentieth century, these timeless cocktails have recently experienced a major resurgence in popularity.
