Review: My Cat From Hell Jackson Galaxy Petmate Toys at Petsmart #sponsored #review #jacksongalaxy #petsmart

This post was a quick turnaround sort of post, and I haven’t got to try them out with My Fur Man just quite yet in a full context, but I know how he reacts to certain similar items so I did this post as more of a my point of view from relevant experiences and whatnot. Also he has been going crazy everytime he sees me have the items out If by chance the experience that I have once he tries the toys out differs I will post updates! I Guess you can consider this post more of a highlight of items sort of post with my thoughts and what not added in if it helps you!

As you might know I have a mad love for my fur babes- actually pretty much everyone’s fur babes! I actually claim one of my moms cats as my grandmeow- Big Boy because he looks just like my cat that I had back when David and I first got married- Shadow. Of course at one point we stayed with my mom and Shadow got used to being outside so when he couldn’t adjust I took him back to my moms and then a few weeks later he left in a snow storm and never came home 🙁

Of course my cat is  Sam, and we call him evil in a fur orange coat- but he does give hugs- that is one of the reasons when I found him on craigslist that I was like “aww look at this cutie and he gives hugs!” of course they didn’t mention the evil in a fur orange coat part 😉 I can’t pass up the chance to put his gorgeous little green eyed self on this blog so here you go:

 

Sam really isn’t purse’ evil but he’s not really a people person/lap cat and I really wish that he was but after 6 years that just isn’t the way it is- though he has gotten a little bit more social over time- he still only really likes me, David and my mom though- if anyone else is here he goes under the bed. It kind of makes me wish I could do the same when certain people come over lol.

I am sure that most people out there are familiar with Jackson Galaxy My Cat From Hell- David and I just thought Sam was a meanie until we saw some of the cats on that show! When I got asked to pick a couple of toys from the line for Sam, for review I was pretty excited. I don’t generally get pet goodies to review, and when I do they are mostly for my dog Marley. The Jackson Galaxy Petmate line of toys is now available at PetSmart and it includes several awesome options for the cat fur babe/babes in your life.

Now keeping in mind Sam is about 7 years old and we have had him about 6 years now, I do consider him to be a fat old lazy boy at this point, he also love catnip and every now and then he will play with something if you kind of bring playing to his attention, so that is how I went about picking out the toys /goodies that I picked for him for this review

First up I picked out the Jackson Galaxy Comfy Cocoon because Shadow used to have something similar and he loved it, and I figure that it will be something that Sam will enjoy as well- you know since he’s all fat and lazy and he even took the extra bed that my mom got for Marley for his own!  I haven’t got to check it out with Sam just yet, but I already know that he will love this because he loves to burrow- especially under the bed like I have mentioned before. Some of the features of this one are:

• Wire opening can be adjusted to cat size and preference

• Interface and flexible center stay creates a gentle slope

• Zipper closure offers multiple exits- back escape route if needed!

I know that the one that Shadow had didn’t have adjust ability or a back exit so I am excited to see the differences in the two! I was pretty excited about this one because of the fact Shadow had had one and it reminded me of that and I had forgotten!

Next up I picked the Jackson Galaxy The Vault Marinater – I picked this one because Sam has a very mad love for catnip! I mean A MAD love. It is so funny how some cats really like catnip and others don’t even care. I know that my mom has a huge patch of it at her house and her cats don’t even pay attention to it.

Then there is Sam who ever since I first gave him catnip has adored it!  Actually one of my neighbors gave us a pot of fresh cat nip and Sam would come out on the sidewalk at the old apartment and tear it out by the roots. This just reminds me I need to get my mom to give him some of the fresh in a pot this summer when she has some, because it has been a little while since he had any!

Anyways , the concept of a vault for his smaller toys that can infuse them with catnip? I know he will love that!  The features are:

Jackson Galaxy Laser Air Wand was the final thing that I picked because I do like to try to keep him active when I can 🙂 He has actually became more playful especially on his own, since we moved/he got older. I think he just likes this apartment better, just like the rest of us. Now he has had similar toys to this one in the past but the combination of having them together is pretty awesome and the fact you can use the laser separate is pretty awesome. Here are some other features:
