They have so many awesome flavors already, but they are coming out with even more! I was really excited when they asked me to review their latest addition: Twisted Shotz Washington Apple ! Not only do I of course love twisted shotz, but apple flavor is flavor that I regularly like as well- I think it is because it reminds me of fall!
Not that you can’t have apple flavored goodies year round.. I guess I am trying to say that no matter what time of the year I like apple flavors because they do remind me of the Fall – because of apple cider and all of that good stuff. Phew. Hopefully that makes since to everyone 🙂
Anyways since I of course have a deep love for fall, anything I consider fallish (anything that can remind me of fall) and alcohol in general , and apples in general I was really happy to get a few packs of these to try! Â They were only available in Washington state at first, but as of March they are available wherever you can find Twisted Shotz– I wish that N.C would get on board and let them be sold in state- though I have found a place online that I can order them from and I am not that far from S.C. either! Oh and I have relatives that live close to where you can get them in TN so I am well covered!
Twisted shotz in case you don’t know by now are these awesome shots of liqour that blend two flavors together! Washington Apple combines a Sour Apple Liqueur and Blue Canadian Whiskey Liqueur – An apple that bites back! I am normally not a shotz person but I make an exception when it comes to these. .. the flavors blend up really nicely and it isn’t like taking a typical shot of just what I would say plain ole nasty liqour (I always mix liquor with something like soda!) Oh and they pack a punch of about 20% ABC too!
It is true though- the apple does bite back 🙂 It is more of a sour apple than a fruity sweet apple, but it is still all good! It has just enough bite to it countered by a bit of sweet! David wasn’t a huge huge fan because he doesn’t like “puckerish” sour stuff but it was right up my ally( I think I could literally drink vinegar!- oh wait, i have!) and sour stuff is a favorite with me! However, he didn’t hate them or anything – I think they just surprised him at first!
I look forward to enjoying my  washington apple twisted shotz some more, and I look forward to trying more flavors in the future as well! These have became one of my favorite beverages and I like being able to relax and enjoy when I have the chance! I am also enjoying that snazzy shirt as well 🙂
