Hey Everyone I swear this is like the 4th post I have started today.. the first 2 didn't have a good tone at all- let me just say I started out the day in an awesome mood! It is sunny, sort of warm, and I didn't feel too awful bad when I woke up so I was in one of these do all the things type of modes and really excited to be in that kind of mood because it has been so long it seems since I did feel like that! I had thought the spring perk up for myself would have started a while back but where we have had such whacky weather and stuff well.. yeah. My mom successfully ruined that mood by taking it upon herself to do something that was frankly none of her business or concern to take upon herself to do. finishing out this week
Hey Everyone! Well.. this week was a whirlwind of playing Hay Day (yes, I am back on that believe it or not lol) and reading a few of my sweet valley high senior year books.. and doing lots of random stuff around the house! Here it is almost 10 at night and I was like well.. maybe I should take a minute and write a post since I really haven't this week and goodness knows me and weekend blogging hasn't been my thing in quite a while! I am currently watching tv and chilling with Marley on the couch. David is taking a shower and Sam is relaxing in the recliner :) This morning I woke up around 330 - and never went back to sleep. David was going into work late since he was going to have the car detailed - so my mom met him here and followed him and then took him to work after he dropped the car off. She stopped by here and we loaded up the truck with the yardsale stuff. I have never been a girl who was big on wearing makeup, though I have always had some sort of collection! My great grandfather actually used to have this saying about "a little bit of powder and a little bit of paint , make many a girl what she ain't". I could probably name all the times that I actually wore make up on one hand. I mean I am not talking about concealer or lip gloss- I actually wear that quite often- I am talking about eye shadow and blush and mascara. I guess I just for the most part have always preferred a natural approach for my look! Even though I did at one point buy like 3 huge make up kits and was determined to learn how to put it on and all of that- I guess even though I am "old" I like to play dress up still. Hey Everyone Ugh here we are at Monday again lol. I know that David is having the car cleaned on Friday so he's taking a day off of work- well unless it rains or he has changed his mind since told me all this like 2 weeks ago. Anyways I was thinking that my mom would be able to follow in her car and that way he didn't have to wait at the place that does that. We could stop by here and grab the yardsale stuff and go to her house and set it up or whatever and then swing back by and get the car and be done of it all but- I guess I will know more on how that will pan out later in the week. I just know usually my mom likes to set everything up the day before and all my stuff is still here and needs moved. David is supposed to get me gym membership this week and we are supposed to start working out so-- we'll see. We have had this plan before lol. Hodge Podge
Hey Everyone Well.. I thought I had written earlier this week , but apparently... well.. lol I know that Monday David stayed home from work so that kind of threw me off a bit- I think we ended up going to look at an apartment place and eating lunch at the hotdog stand. I really liked the apartment place and if we are going to move from here next lease period then that is likely where we would go. I kind of got off track on when our lease is up and I think it is actually sooner than I thought - I thought it was more like this time next year but now I am thinking it is like January or so. Meh ...I really don't want to move but this place is barley 10 min from here and it was a pretty nice townhouse. I know my mom is in this buy a house kick again but we do not have the credit- then you have to have that down payment so I am not going to get my hopes up! warm and sunny day inspiration needed
Hey Everyone Well.. I am trying to perk the place up a little theme wise. I found this one for free when I subscribed to a news letter so... I do like it but I was wanting something with a little less white in the background - and even though I go into my widgets and change the color/background it won't follow through and show up! I know that the last several themes I have had have had a lot of white and it is likely some weird random genesis issue that I could fix with hard coding (which I don't really do) I can probably look past that but for some reason I lost the drop down sections of my menu bar and they show up right on the widget when I am looking but they don't follow through to the site. That might be the part that drives me crazy hopefully I will figure it out- and who even knows I might end up finding another theme or something! Just something to mix it up for me would be great!
