Hey Everyone Well I am getting a late start on getting going on online things today! I woke up early because I went to bed fairly early and read half the night, then I knew I was getting something via fedex so I just got up about 9 and luckily because they came about 920 or so which is way earlier than usual! I am expecting them again tomorrow so I guess I better be ware they might be early! I think I might do a bit of work around the house today- as in cleaning out a cabinet or two in the kitchen- they are always a wreck! I need to clean up my clothes and what not as well! I guess it is time for a bit of spring cleaning! Of course in general the house stays pretty tidy and clean- with Asthma I have to be ahead of the game :) I think I am going to make my Instant pot "Fried" rice for dinner but not with chicken because I forgot to lay some out lol. You have probably noticed by now , if you have been reading the blog for any length of time that I am trying to get more healthy options for food around the house , especially since we have had a few incidents of David having really high blood pressure and being taken to urgent care (and even to the ER back in 2012) We don't really know what the issue is, they just keep telling him to eat better and to exercise! I like to say the bad food likely isn't what he gets at home but from eating lunch out at fast food places :( and the fact that he isn't active (neither am I ) but that is just something we are going to have to make a point to work on because I don't want anymore scares. In the past I have tried several alternatives to chips , though lets face it there isn't anything that really is going to replace that potato goodness! David Gave Me A Bit Of A Scare!
Well yesterday,I was heading into review # 2 for the day and I was pretty excited btw, when I get a phone call. Before I looked I figured it was my mom or my grandma but...it was David and it wasn't even a time of day where I normally hear from him- i figured he had got a text about another review I had sent him and was on his break and wanted to tell me something. I was VERY wrong. They had to take David to urgent care - I don't know if it was the one right here in our parking lot (basically) or the one down the road. ...I didn't exactly ask. Anyways he had started to feel dizzy/faint and had a "tight throat" and felt basically like he was going to pass out. One of his co workers took him and well.. his BP was 185/111 and the picture that i have from when I took him to the ER 4 years ago the highest number I have is 175/85 or something like that I think.. .so it was pretty freaking high.. Flying By… and Boring Picture Prompts!
Hey Everyone Well.. today is FLYING by - I am sitting here feeling like I just blinked and now it is already 2 p/m! I am trying to catch up a few pics from my picture challenge but seriously I know I mentioned it before but unless something changes I will be on the hunt for a new one next month- I mean what kind of pic am I supposed to come up with "hello" ? I mean other than like a screenshot of my ipod listening to Adele or something?.. and I don't even have the cover art for that cd downloaded onto the ipod! My mom went somewhere another today to get ground beef. Spring is around the corner, and I for one could not be more excited! Granted it isn't my favorite season- but I don't mind it either-longer days, warmer weather and all of that good thing- I think if it weren't for the pollen it would be tied with fall for my favorite season! Another one of my favorite things about spring is when you start getting all those fresh fruits and veggies, and I personally like to eat a little more "light" come this time of year, even though for some reason I tend to be a bit more hungry when the season first starts! I like sandwiches and different sorts of salads (seriously I could make a whole week menu of salads including chicken, regular, egg, potato and pasta!)
