Greetings from the dreary, cool, rainy south! Blah! I had EVERY intention of getting up this morning when David left but-- it was dark, rainy and cold and I just wanted to cuddle up with Marley. So I did just that- didn't figure I would fall asleep= I had a very restless night but still had woke up feeling pretty "awake" - and wouldn't you just know I fell asleep sometime between 730 and 8:30 of so? It was all good though- it looks like we are going to be having a really funky weathered weekend and I will be able to get plenty of things done online and offline because I won't really be out and about! I know that David's bro had mentioned coming over this weekend but I Hope that was just a thing he said lol I was wanting my mom to come bring me some soda and some chicken that I could make into my version of a chicken salad (let's just say I never have relish so I use green olives and lots of dukes mayo) But since it is raining she won't budge! Hey Everyone Well today makes Day 2 of these gummy vitamins I am taking and I can honestly already tell a difference. I mean I am still a bit tired but I did stay up a little bit last night so- it is kind of almost like a normal sort of tired! I stalked for Fedex ALL Day yesterday because my package had said on truck for delivery. I was zonking out and I didn't feel like getting almost asleep or whatever and being woke up for the package /them still leaving it at the office so I toughed it out and would you believe they ended up not delivering it because it wasn't "scheduled" for that day? I mean goodness forbid you deliver it early right? EH! I am trying a new recipe in my instant pot tonight- A chicken Tortilla soup that of course I am adapting in my own way :) For example it is supposed to have chicken broth but.. I am going to use.. Some version of energy needed
Well I am sitting here about to fall asleep waiting for Fedex .. this will def. be the latest that I have got a package in FOREVER! I totally figured i'd already have got it and been off taking a blissful nap by now and probably getting up but...no such luck! Like I say it isn't like you can just say leave it at the door because they won't and I am not trapsing to the office for it either sooo.. here I am! With it being after 3 a nap is very well not going to happen which SUCKS because I am so drained my head hurts. I don't know why but the last few weeks I have NO get up and go. I am starting some vitamins and such starting today so I am hoping that will help. Along with a little something else I am trying..and heck I will go work out if I freakin' have to but something has to give! I mean I have tried every combo of going to bed late/ getting up early/going to bed early /getting up early/napping/no napping/etc you can think of but it's all the same! When I was a young gal, even though my family (parents especially) were really religious and I wasn't allowed to do a lot of the things that most kids got do (ie celebrate holidays like Christmas and Halloween) they had no problem with my reading ghost stories, legends,books about astrology, numerology,etc. They also didn't care when I would get a Magazine that would have those little cards you could tear out that were like tarot cards and love cards and I know one time I even had some that were rune stones. I always loved them and had tons of fun with them not only just on my own but with my other friends. I still have the majority of the cards , they are in a cloth drawstring bag and I run into them from time to time. I don't have the "instructions" anymore - they have long since been thrown away I am sure- I am sure I never tore them out of the magazines (not that I am sure why I wouldn't have- would have been easy to put them in the bag with the cards) and of course over time I … [Read more...]
My eyes burn like someone threw sand in them, but I am making the best of it!
I decided to go ahead and get up this morning because even though my eyes are burning out of my head I couldn't seem to go back to sleep. I was going to wait until it got a little more light outside= however, it doesn't look like "light" is going to be an option today! It is about 40 and looks like rain...and even though it is about 9 it looks like 7 out! My eyes actually started bothering me yesterday afternoon- I got out a few eyelashes and for some reason my right eye is just really annoyed apparently.. a couple hours sleep wouldn't have hurt! It seems like the mornings I end up getting up are always the cloudy grey ones for some reason. Apparently Sam is in whine mode this morning- I don't know what is up- he has food, water,etc and he is just roaming around howling his ever loving head off. Random Information for you- I have been craving a biscuit for ..EVER .. and the one thing I don't really know how to make ? Biscuits! Oh and don't get me started on those nasty ones in the can - that freaky freaky can that goes POP. I am half tempted to call my mom and have her walk me through making them. Somewhere in the world there is a book of different recipes that my mom wrote down for me when I went away to school and I want to think that is in there. I am also craving Chicken like mad.. I have this obsession with Chicken thighs and I swear if i had some thawed they'd be marinated in garlic and soy sauce and be fried for me for lunch with those biscuits. and maybe a baked potatoe lol. As it is I'll probably have some garlic fries (baked-we don't have fryer anymore) It looks like we might have a turf war here at my house today with UPS and Fedex..
