Hey Everyone Well today is going fast and furious for sure- I can't believe it is almost 1:00- I do really miss David getting to come home for lunch but until they are done with that logging job out at his work, he won't get to come home for lunch :( A few days he has taken some sandwiches and snacks ..which reminds me I was going to boil what was left in our carton of eggs in the instant pot. For dinner I am thinking some sort of soup.. possibly veggie- but I usually make my veggie soup with corned beef or corned beef hash and I don't have either. My mom suggested Hamburger so.. I think I might do that. I know I have before but can't remember how it was! I have lots of random things I Would like to get done both blogging related and in the house but the only time I Seem to be motivated is the middle of the night and early in the morning- which doesn't work out so well.. gonna have to start making some lists and goals and all that good stuff. Review: Coloring Books for Grown Ups: Keep Calm & Color On #putmeinthestory
Sometimes I have to admit that I need something to do other than sitting on the computer stalking social media/email and blogging and all of that sort of thing. .. sure that would leave things to do around the house or go out and about with my mom or something of the sorts, which is totally fine! However sometimes you just want to do something that relaxes you and something that is a little bit "different". Something that I have always liked to do is color- which is kind of funny when you think about how much I hated coloring as a child. I think that had to do with this fact that for church we had these little books called bible lessons and we had to color one of them like every month or every 2 weeks or something and they were just -not fun when you are forced to do something I suppose! Funky Work Schedule for Dav for a few weeks!
Hey Everyone Well I am up bright and early this morning trying to "do all the things" I suppose :) Kind of a slow start because I didn't actually get up until it got a little bit more light outside and then it is cold.. then I have been watching a little bit of tv and such too. I can't believe I haven't had any coffee just yet but I am def. about to! I woke up right before 5 and then I never went back to sleep. I Know that david's clock hadn't been set so it was a good thing- even though he ended up sleeping in till 6 after the fact! I am expecting a package this morning and as crazy as ups and fedex are - you never know if they will go straight to the office or even if they bring it by - if i weren't to answer will they leave it at the door. This package is a 2 set and from what I can tell they are 10lbs each so I really don't feel like chasing it down or having to send david after it if he gets home early enough! Doing a Few little updates here and there on the site :)
Hey Everyone I didn't really have a whole lot that had to be done today- after all it is a very cold monday here in the south! Yes- cold has finally found us ya'll :( I am talking it was 33 degrees this morning when David left to go to work and it might be 40 tops right now! I just happened to scroll over to my About Me page and realize it hadn't been updated since.. wait for it.. 2012! January of 2012! I guess that isn't somewhere I think to update all that much but I need to do a bit better! I know that Charli is working on updating my theme a little bit too- not that the colors or the logo will change but the fonts and whatnot will :) I also want to add a tiny about me on the side bar and all that- something I had meant to do for a while! A Little Bit About Me & Wings! If you have followed along for any length of time with my posts it isn't a big secret that my favorite types of food are the ones that lean more to a "savory" side instead of the "sugary" side. Also, my absolute favorite of all favorites are buffalo wings- and that is where that whole rumor about me a being a picky eater comes into play but FOR REAL. I am EXTREMELY picky when it comes to wings and I have about 3 places that I generally like their wings, and then that is IT. I don't even really try new places for wings because of this. I also generally stick to your general buffalo flavor so that might be why I am SO picky! So when I got a chance to review some Wings and some other yummy foods from East Coast Wings and Grill, I was pretty well beyond excited. New Years 2016!
Hey Everyone So How is 2016 treating you so far? So far , so good over here- I am just trying to get reviews caught up and make lists of things I want for "goals" or resolutions this year and all that kind of stuff. My mom and I went to the store FINALLY on Thursday- Phew I am stocked up for a good while let's just say! there are a few random things I missed picking up but for the most part it is all good! we went to aldi, harris teeter and walmart then we ended up going to her house because she was cleaning out some stuff from her freezer so that was nice too. I had thought David and my Dad were working a half day on new years eve but they didn't which is fine but I don't know why both my mom and I thought that! I ended up watching the Praise party for church online and that is how we rang in the new year!
