However, I am on a thought train where this made me think of flaws I have with a few things, so come ride along with me lol I know the main one is one that I have had for many years and that is the fact that I am an overthinker! I can seriously make a mountain out of a mole hill, so to speak! Then it just goes from there and I get all of these scenarios in my head and worry about how things are going to play out.. then I stop for a minute and kind of just go WHAT THE HECK NICHOLE? lol, because I realize that most of what I am thinking isn't even REAL and sometimes it isn't even realistic. I think one of the proudest moments I have experienced is more like not a moment but an accomplishment in general, and that is the fact that David and I have made it as long as we have in our marriage(7 years!). We had lots of people who were against us getting married so early on, and we even experienced being rejected on our requests for someone TO marry us because of it. This includes members of David's family (then again you already knew they are some of the most weird and backwards people ever lol). I think when we run into these people it just makes me so full of "We showed you" I know that is not the best attitude but you know what ? My dad actually took me to have it done one evening when he came home from work. I never even flinched or stopped talking when they did it lol. I ended up getting them done because my best friend that lived next door had got hers pierced and I got obsessed after that! I got my belly button ring with some of the tax money that David and I got back the first year we were together. I had been wanting one For YEARS and never could get up the guts to get one because some people told me it hurt like heck and some said it didn't and.. yeah. I actually tortured Jason to death about getting one and he even had me in the truck at the piercing place one time and I freaked out and wouldn't go in. A little bit of blogger burnout- but it shall pass quickly
Hi Everyone! Well today I am just daggone burnt out when it comes to the internet and blogging! I got my wordless wed, my blog challenge both here and over at southern-belle and that was ALL! I mean I did some interacting on the BE group but other than that I pretty much just laid low. I think I was trying to overachieve my scheduling SO Many posts in advance and what is wrong if I only do 4 or 5 a day you know? They will get done eventually! I tend to put way to much pressure on myself for no real reason to finish things in a hurry. I think I did better back when I just wrote everything on the day it needed to be written to tell you the truth. I was really extra special hungry at lunch today, so instead of my usual light snack of salad/sandwich or whatever I made me some fried hb patty, rice and peppers. It was a huge fail though because it made such a mess! I had to end up totally cleaning all the counters and stove + run the dishwasher. Meh! I don't know it just seems like one … [Read more...]
