What was your favorite toy as a child? MY favorite toy as a child was a doll named crystal! I named her after Crystal Gayle the singer..ok so yeah crystal gayle the singer has loooong hair and she is bald ... I named her crystal after I saw crystal gayle and gary morris sing on Another world *(soap opera) (they sung the theme song for the show, and apparently were on the show to premire it or whatnot!) Veracity Blogathon day 27 : Free Spirt or Stick to it (recipe)
When it comes to cooking are you a free spirit or do you stick to the recipe? Do you follow recipes down to the exact measurement or do you guesstimate and and experiment? Why or why not? I don't really stick to recipes... i'm more the free spirit! I usually adapt recipes like for example the soup that i call THE SOUP ..I make it more of a tomato base and my mom's is more of chicken broth base! I also put more pasta in it than the recipe calls for. go figure! I think with basil chicken I do it totally different as well! veracity blogathon day #26: residence
Describe your current place of residence. What do you like and dislike about it? Do you live alone or with someone else? How long do you see you staying at your current residence? Ok, so I just wrote about my apartment a few days ago for the blogathon for My Dream home, (plus not long a go before that, and extra plus I was intending to eventually do a picture/video tour..)So I don't think i'll bore you with rewriting it all over again! I just want to say one extra tidbit: I can't wait till cooler weather when I can open my upstairs windows at night!! that will be awesome..+ during the day too :) I just enjoy cool air the most when trying to go to sleep! Veracity Blogathon Day 25: eating out
When you're not up for cooking or eating at home what restaurants do you generally go to? How often do you go and which ones are your favorites? Places we really like are: Applebees, Olivegarden, Subway, Firehouse Subs, and 4 local places: one's a country style cooking, one is a piza/sub/pita/etc place, one japanese and one chinese. lol I didn't want to give exact names for security reasons! I have really gotten out of eating fast food with the exception of hardees. them and that blasted chicken sandwich! We don't eat at olive garden except special occasions like anniversaries and birthdays. We eat at applebees fairly offten. I also eat at the pizza/sub/pita join at least once every 2 weeks or so. ohh it’s almost the weekend…
*waves* poor autumn-rain is dead today *sniff* I know it's because i'm such a slacker right? lol. I am going to try my darndest to get around and comment everyone here in a bit if I can.. I am so glad that it is almost the weekend..well ok it pretty much is the start of my weekend since david is off on fridays. WHEE. that means i can sleep straight through in the morning...if i can! honestly, I hate that the site seems so neglected lately. I do my paid posts/a review here n there/ and the blogathon..but within the last week all i have had to write about is me and my sleep dilemma! They did come to supposedly fix my roof yesterday (major hole that leaks in downpoors in the guest room) Who knows if they did or not. They can't seemingly do anything right over here. veracity day #24: subjects
What is one of your favorite and least favorite subjects in school? Why? I was always an english/grammar person. I know that half the time around here(i think i have this wrote in my about section lol). That I don't do it half right with the grammar, but I do try for the most part.It's freaking online for godsake. at least i'm not writing in all caps and sticky caps and stuff you know? I always liked reading/writing so the grammar part just came in with all of that ...I always made A's in the classes..and I have speed reading capabilities.. then.. I had teachers that always wanted to read my papers before others in college..lol seriously got my papers back alot of times the same day I turned them in. I honestly find that my writing and reading fast capabilities have been a gift. A book that would take most people days to read , I can have it read in a matter of hours.
