Sometimes I just have to reference my good old days at appalachian state because, well, they are the good old days! ha ha. you know back when i was younger, thinner, and more blond ha ha. or in some cases red-blond when i was trying to match one of my ex boyfriends! :) I seriously just had too much fun back then. I Didn't realize it then of course, and I let alot of opportunities slip right by me! I don't know if you all know it but I had 3 boyfriends before david. They were Mark, Jason and Tim. Mark was the most mind controlling freak EVER, Jason is still one of my best friends and Tim..well last I heard about him was he is in Jail..Yeah! Tim was probably the most cryptic out of all of them though. I totally believe in his own way he loved me, but he was just always so sketchy. i miss the big screen!
You know something I don't like? That david sold our 32 inch tv we had! out of all the crap we have been stupid enough to sale because we were desperate for money or whatever..that has got to be up there on the list for me. A few other things include my original netbook (though it did have a few wonky issues) and my candy apple green Ds I know that david probably regrets selling that tv more than me though. our tv downstairs is one that he got from his dad and it's HUGE and bulky and I hate it. Seriously if we were to ever *knock on wood* live with my parents again there is no way it would fit on my chest of drawers..and of course you have to run it through the convertor box with an antennas anyways! we have to use an amplifier to get most of the channels around here anyways! upstairs we just have a littler tv, and we don't even attempt to try to run reg. tv on it, just watch dvd's for the most part. dvd players are another story. both of them are acting wonky. Addiction
I have been lucky in my family & friends that I really haven't ever had to experience someone really being addicted to something, and having to go through rehab or detox or anything like that. I mean I know someone that is addicted to sleeping pills, but they ended up fighting it on their own as far as I know.I know a few people that might have some problems with alcohol but ..yeah.. that's kind of a gray area with most people ..until they believe that they have a problem..well you know. The person I knew addicted to sleeping pills actually got help because of course they are perscription and the dr. could tell there was a problem. when it comes to things like alcohol..well it's not so cut and dry you know? There are so many things that people can be addicted to, and there are ways to get help for all of them. so weather you need help with sleeping pills, or something a little more serious such as,oxycodone percocet addiction detox I really hope you can find it! :) … [Read more...]
spa day sounds good to me!
I swear day's like today I think I could use a nice spa sort of day..even if I do it myself at home! I sometimes do the whole bubble bath and relax but I think that one of these days i'm gonna kick it up a notch and totally pamper my little self. Get some facial masks and maybe even have david give me a massage.. and all that good stuff. My day has just been a big blur, as has been my whole weekend really. David and I went to the mall yesterday way out away from here.. and ate at apple bees. then we have been stalking like mad to get an HP tablet for 99 bucks.. ugh :( I need some rest! … [Read more...]
Veracity Blogathon Day 20: computers
Post a picture of your computer(s). When did you purchase it? What do you like and dislike about it? My Laptop is an HP Dv4 and I LOVE it. It is white, and everyone knows i'm a sucker for white electronics. I bought it last May and I can't even remember all of it's specs.. I think it's a 4gb with a 320 harddrive though lol. I know it has an odd screen size: 14:1 I think but it's seriously not too small or too big. It has a nice webcam and card reader. There's nothing I don't like about it! My netbook I just bought a little over a month ago. It is an Hp Mini and it's pink plaid and I LOVE It too! It really helps about getting things done while david is on the reg. laptop. The webcam sucks about video making, and there's alot of feedback on skype if I don't use my headphones.. other than that no complaints with it. Day 19 Veracity Blogathon: Cell Phone
ost a picture of your cellphone. How long have you had it and why did you choose it? My phone is the Samsung Intercept. It is a prepaid phone from virgin mobile. but you can also get it from Sprint as a regular contract phone. Let's just say: this phone seriously SUCKS. I don't get sprint coverage in my area which we all pretty much know ...I only deal with Virgin which is basically the same thing because of the whole pay as you go thing. I mean better for 25 than 85 any day of the week. It is an android phone and that is about the only thing it has going on for it. I got it when the Charge port in the evo fried ..and it was only to be temporry but it stayed ..i have had it about 2 or 3 months or so i suppose The main reason i chose it?keyboard, and unlimited internet I could tether at the time!
