For example, if you purchase a gift for your boss, it’s important to consider how long you’ve known them, how close you might be friendship-wise, and also the appropriateness of a gift to a professional contact. But it’s true that we need to consider suitability when purchasing for a close friend, too. After all, it might be that an expensive gift we purchase them will be unused, but because of our close friendship they may feel obligated to use it. Many people have been in this position, returning gifts given to them for store credit, or simply only displaying it in the house when they come to visit. So, if you hope to purchase quite a statement piece, such as a piece of jewelry, it’s important to consider what not to do … [Read more...]

Peace & and amazing holiday season!
I don't know if anyone who reads this blog or even knows me in general really realizes that I grew up in a cult. More specifically- a doomsday cult. We didn't celebrate birthdays, christmas, easter- and of course we didn't do halloween! We went to church on Saturdays and we followed all the old testament holy days and food laws. I hope to cover more about the cult eventually. Maybe I will not only help myself by getting things out, but maybe I can help someone else right? So, I didn't mean to disappear for so long! I was doing so good there right? September and October were actually pretty OK months compared to … [Read more...]

It’s okay! You might need to fine-tune and re-arrange some of your goals; if so, that is okay! When you look at your goal list, go back to your “whys.” Why did you set that goal in the first place? Does that reason still apply to you now? It is okay to not hit goals if those goals have changed throughout the year. Celebrate your … [Read more...]
