Sometimes I see something and I try for a good while to get it to review before I ever wind up with it, sometimes it isn't cut and dry and it isn't instant - but it seems like those are always the most exciting reviews that I get when they come to be a reality. Oh, and sometimes you have to find somewhere other than the actual brand to get the review from too! The latest item that I got to review was one of these "special" items and it was the Ring Video Doorbell that I got thanks to the wonderful folks at Hammacher Schlemmer. I worked with them last year on a review for my wine fridge which I really love, but I did end up gifting it to my parents a couple months ago! I would have kept it but I know that they would enjoy it and that it was going to a great home :) In case you don't know Hammacher Schlemmer has almost anything in the world that you can think of, and you can even get their catalog sent to you if you want. I always find so many unique things that I love when I … [Read more...]
Holiday Gift Guide Review: The BroBasket #review #sponsored #ad
This is a review of Alcohol so if you are not of legal age in your country of residence (21 in the USA) then please do not proceed reading this review- thanks! You all know that I love adult beverages, I don't make a big secret of it, and I generally do several alcohol related reviews every year! However, this year I just haven't really been in the mood to do them because most of the ones I generally end up writing are ones for wine, and I have to admit I am kind of not that big of a wine drinker anymore! Mostly because it gives me horrible heartburn and I always end up so hungover/horrible headaches when I drink it so I kind of switched back to beer and the "hard stuff". As far as reviewing beer goes, I would rather just buy it, and as far as "hard stuff" goes I don't really get the chance that often! I was also looking for something GUY related to put in this gift guide and I found out about bro baskets and well everything tied together! I have to say though , you don't … [Read more...]

I ended up getting a set of them a few weeks ago, and I have been trying to learn more about them ever since! I have enjoyed them so far, and I have been trying to expand not only my knowledge. but my collection of related goodies and blends and what not as well! One thing I thought would be really awesome would be a way to be able to get some of the benefits of aromatherapy without having to be around a diffuser, and I also thought it would … [Read more...]
Snow tomorrow, so they say…
Hey Everyone Well today is going to have to be a get things done day for me! Tuesday I was so MEH all day and yesterday I was semi- MEH but today I am trying to hit the ground running :) Which honestly a lot of the MEH is because it is so darn dreary and gray out and they are actually calling for snow tomorrow- it went from like a 20% chance to a 60 % chance! Tuesday I fully chalk up as a girly day because for some reason I get about 1 day a month that ovulation just knocks me out so yeah.. Yesterday I just had so much random crap I needed to get done like changing sheets and such so.. It all works out in the end :) Today I already have loaded the dishwasher, put a new trashbag in the can , refreshed the water in the fridge, took marley out, started some sheets, made the bed , straightened the couch and cleaned out the fridge. The only other things in the house to get done would be me straightening my hair and keeping the laundry going- like fold up the towels in the dryer and … [Read more...]

going to stick to simple things today
Hey Everyone Well...Today has not been a get up and go day for me unfortunately :( I am having some girly stuff so I have kind of just been taking it easy because I am pretty drained but I am hoping I might get a few random things done this evening- like updating the main gift guide page or some simple things like that :) David actually came home for Lunch which like never happens hardly ever anymore so that was kind of cool. I remember when he used to come home for lunch all the time! He knew I wasn't feeling well so he came to see me so that was nice :) He was like you better take a nap lol so I took the advice. First time I have napped in I don't know when.. It really isn't that easy to nap because of all the construction work going on and then Marley starts barking and what not so. I was lucky to get about an hour nap :) Right now it is pretty much 30 minutes or so before David gets home for the day and I am making sloppy joes for dinner so I am going to make sure that … [Read more...]
