Hey Everyone Well.. I am in a do all the things mood- you know the kind where you start 900 things and never really get anywhere? That is me today ha ha. I felt REALLY awesome when David left for work and I likely should have just went with that and got up, but I didn't .. and I didn't really get any good sleep and my neck/shoulders have been bothering me and I kept having numb hands/fingers so.. Eh! But.. it is all good. So yes, I do feel a little bit more tired than I would have had I just stayed up but no biggie! I am still in a pretty awesome mood so that is good! I don't know what exactly I want to concentrate on today the most or if I should just keep up the random- which with me everything is always random you know? Other than blog related stuff- and btw did you notice I got the social media buttons linked up yesterday evening wahoo lol) I am still in yardsale mode - I haven't really cleaned out anything for it in a while and I keep seeing stuff randomly and wanting to start … [Read more...]
Theme is coming along!
Hey Everyone Well.. The theme is coming along! I bought it late Friday evening and worked on it a bit that evening and then some Saturday evening. I am not through with everything but at least it is coming along :) If for some reason it looks weird to you (mostly the header image) you may want to clear your cache/history/cookies and it should show up right for you! I am going to put a note up top and pin it that way everyone is sure to see it. Mobile view should be a better experience as well because I deactivated the old plugin that had everything looking kinda whacky- because this theme was mobile responsive. I will likely just do a pinned post with progress and notes so look for it! In general though- I am very happy with the way things are turning out with it! I hate that I didn't get more done with it over the weekend but it just ends up giving me something to do in the day to pass time through the week so it is all good :) there are lots of things I want to tweak and try out … [Read more...]
too old for some things..
Hey Everyone Well.. I have had a busy day and I haven't even got to the buying my theme for the site and working on that just yet!! I might not get going on it till tomorrow- I am not really sure just yet! I was in a really excited mood when I woke up this morning- I was like oh my god has all my mojo for everything came back at one time or what? I was pretty excited about the prospect to say the least. I figured that by the time I got up around 9 it would be gone but it lingered so I tried to get all kinds of random stuff done that way I would not have to do it later on this weekend like washing my hair/shower/shave and all that good stuff. I straightened up the couch and made my bed and then got the dishwasher going and all kindsa good stuff. I took a really quick nap and even got up and got my hair straightened - and I even have played around with emailing people and what not too! Oh and I had a pasta salad for lunch ha ha. Site Overhaul: 2017 Edition
I will be installing a new wordpress theme this weekend! I will also be deleting some things on the back side of the site, redoing some pages and what not as well- not sure exactly what just yet, but def. will be installing a new theme and trying to get it looking the way I want it! I would just take the site into maintenance mode, but I do have several pitches out and what not so I figured I will just leave it live! it was a rare moon
Hey Everyone Well.. Yesterday I spent it trying to calm down my eyes- mainly the left one and I never did manage to get it to feel half way right- even after a 30 min nap where I thought I had achieved success- it started bothering me less than an hour after that. So let me say watching tv, reading, pretty much everything was OUT and had to be done in spurts of just a few minutes and it sucked! I tried everything in the world as far as resting, putting a wash cloth on it and even wearing my glasses but .. I finally had to break down and find some eye drops! I HATE EYE DROPS. I hate anything near my eyes... I could probably count on ONE hand how many times I have ever used eye drops- and this is only the 2nd time I can think of since I was married! Anyways the ones I had were in these huge vials and down in the container there was this little cup so I just on and off blinked it into my eye throughout the evening/night and then when I woke up about 4 this morning it felt tons … [Read more...]
