This is a review of alcohol. Please keep in mind that you must be of legal drinking age in your area to purchase and /or enjoy these types of beverages! As you all have gathered by now I think my favorite things to review are kitchen goodies, foods and wine and Alcohol related things! Of course I love reviewing almost anything (no books, no apps) but these seem to be the things I am always on the lookout for and that really make me excited when I get a pitch for them! Ok Day 2 of the Blogathon was a bust, but here is to day 3! #blogathon2
Hey Everyone Well me and blogging/biannual blogathon was a total bust yesterday! I slept in because I stayed up pretty late Friday night.and I was pretty restless so I really didn't go to sleep until sometime really early in the morning..so then I get up and kinda just mess around a little bit and my eyes were itching burning and stinging like mad and I couldn't get them to stop. I took a shower to try to wake up and what not but it really didn't help. I ended up laying down for what I thought would be 30 min or so because I thought if I just rested my eyes they would stop bothering me. That turned into a REALLY LONG NAP! After I got up I just wasn't feeling blogging or online so.. eh! Hopefully today will end up being a more productive one blogging wise- if i just finished the review that I started the other night/work on another one I would be really happy! End of Biannual Blogathon Bash Day 1 Highlights- #blogathon2
Hey Everyone Well today has been pretty o.k on the productive level for me with the blogathon. Since i had got up a review last night I was already ahead in my book, then i got up the blogathon post, a regular post , a review, started another one , answered several emails, did a writing topic prompt a pre post for a review,and I don't even know what else! I have a few more things I would like to add to my list Rework Media Kit Rework Sponsored Post & Review Guidelines Work on a few things related to a group I have on FB that is with a friend and blogging related! Right now , I am not sure if I am going to get anything else done tonight or not! I know you all are like Nichole Worked a OUTSIDE THE HOUSE JOB? When was this? :) I actually have had a few jobs outside of the house- I have worked at Great Clips as a receptionist, Kohls as a cashier, I was hired at the Salvation Army as a Cashier but ended up being a floor person. Those were the good jobs so to speak. I have also worked at Books A Million (a night and a half-i HATED IT) Goodwill(Didn't last but maybe a month) and the library at the community college (it was ok for a little while) After the library job David and I decided we would just be better off with me staying at home and I don't have a problem with that- plus that was when he got the job where he is now and was gone with the car and all of that sorts of thing.When we lived in town and i was doing the library I was walking to work/school. … [Read more...]
Oh HAI THERE ICE
Hey Everyone Well now today here in the south we have the white stuff big time- but while most of it is snow we have been getting a lot of sleet/ice! I want to get some pictures but I don't want to 1. get cold 2.get pelted in the head with ice and 3. there have been so many people in and out of the place and kids running around that it isn't so awful nice looking. I do intend to try a little bit later to at least get a few -i'll stand on the patio and on the breezeway for the most part and use my big zoomy lens though :) You probably notice I am working on the blogathon this weekend and I have been working on those reviews and whatnot that I have been wanting to get done. I am a little bit slower than normal but I am watching Tv and then David is home and everything but still I feel productive so that is just fine and dandy with me. Something I have always loved to do is listen to music when I am in the bathtub! Years ago I would just tote my big CD player in there and you know- be stuck with whatever CD or Tape (one side lol) or the radio (which would always go to chit and chat as soon as you got in! I actually still did this when I was living in Boone, NC and going to Appalachian State. Somewhere along the line, I had this neat little thing where you could put your walkman inside and hook it up to a speaker type thing with some cords, closed it up and you could listen to it. Really it wasn't that much better than using your big boombox except well I guess it kind of was because it was smaller and a little bit more water proof but you still didn't really have any options to speak of! Of course I did live in those times before an ipod and before bluetooth!
