Hey Everyone Well Yesterday I woke up about 330 a/m and was WIDE Awake. I should have got up and worked on all the stuff that I was wanting to work on and was laying there thinking about but I didn't.. I ended up staying up right through when David left for work at 7 and then by 11 I felt like ..YUCK... I think the going to bed late on the weekends + allergies and then going on the 3 hours of sleep hit me hard! I tried to take a quick nap and hope it would help but it didn't.. I ended up taking another nap around 2 for about an hour and it didn't help either! So needless to say getting back into my going to bed early/watching tv/cuddles thing def. happened last night and I wanted to stay up when David left this morning but I decided to treat myself and let myself rest :) Things are REALLY picking up with my reviews and I am going to have to SERIOUSLY get on the ball. A New Project for My Blogger Friends ! Come Visit Social Blogging Society & Join up!
I don't know if you noticed but at the bottom of the site I brought back my "other projects" section. I need to add the button for Southern-Belle there but.. I already added the one for Social Blogging Society! I let BE go ahead and die out- let's face it over the years there were too many cooks in the kitchen and I strayed from my original game plan and I personally never was happy about that- even though I just tried to roll with it, it totally went away from what I originally intended it to be. I am not saying some of the ideas weren't ones that I didn't come to enjoy and it was really an awesome time as long as it lasted but I did decide that it was time to let it die out and start over. Sometimes when you find someone just as like minded as you and plan things out for a good while before you just rush right into it with no real direction, which is EXACTLY what happened with BE! Autumn Rain Turns 5 Years Old !
Hey Everyone I didn't have a chance to write yesterday but Autumn-Rain turned FIVE YEARS OLD! I cannot believe it! I never thought that when I started it it would be around this long! Of course I have been blogging since before it was blogging and have had many projects in the past- and of course currently, but I don't think I ever had one of them that lasted quite this long. My blog from college might have been close .. it was maybe 3 or so... Of course Autumn-Rain is older than 5 because I transferred Digitaly Nichole (yes spelled wrong and everything lol,) which was my free wordpress from 2008 over so yeah..I have been around :) Projects come and go , and I am proud this one has made it through :) I nearly forgot this time around about the blog-a-versary because I generally renew my blog on the day it is due but last year when we were moving I forgot at the last minute because we were SO Busy and it actually "expired" and it freaked me out lol. Tuesday Ten- May Goals & Plans
Ten Goals/Plans for May 1. Have A Yardsale- if AT ALL possible. (My weekends are filling up fast!) 2.Catch up on any outstanding reviews I have been putting off (because I have lots of things coming up in the future) 3. Start Tanning for the love of all that is tan :) (I have had minutes since Feb that I haven't used) 4. Participate in the Photo A Day Challenge (I guess I will be getting acquainted with my ipod camera as well since I sold my ipad!(and my favorite Photo A Day challenge goes through an idevice only app called little moment 5. Get Up Early and get all the stuff that HAS to be done done before 12- because it is fun and I get so much more done! 6. Keep up my routine of relaxing before bed :) 7. Keep up with a certain something I am working on that I am not really telling anyone about :) 8. No, I’m good Yo!
Hey Everyone I am in one of those blog bursts where I write some stuff in a draft walk away and end up not finishing the post! I think I have about 3 of them from the past few days. I am going to try to mingle them together and get us a proper update on here :) The weekend was pretty mellow except for the fact that my dad nearly took a finger off doing something another in his workshop! He argued with my mom he didn't need to go to urgent care even though she made him go and he ended up with 3 stitches! My mom said he literally went and finished cutting the board he was working on before they went! She also said he told her if she hadn't have been home he wouldn't have went at all! I am going to pick on him because he like to had a fit on me for not going when I just broke my foot-but hello tons of blood and could have got infected? OY! Lake Norman Beerfest 2015
This post is written in exchange for 2 VIP tickets to the Lake Norman Beerfest 2015..All thoughts opinions and statements are honest and my own! So you may remember me posting last fall about being really excited to go to Charlotte Beerfest? I was going as part of a review and getting the VIP experience package for me and David! You can read that post "Charlotte Beerfest 2014 " if you want to see how excited I was and then you will see why I was so bummed because... ....you might have also noticed that I never posted a follow up to that post! What happened was that was the week David started really having panic attacks and he had been not sleeping , had a trip to urgent care and chest pains and all of that so we didn't actually make it to the beerfest! I was pretty bummed out but ... it was more important for us at that time to address those health concerns and get some rest.
