SEO Infographic: Because showing up in search engines is important!
When you have a blog, one of the most important things that you have to do, is make sure that your site is Search Engine Optimized(SEO). I mean, if you have a website you want to make sure when people search for you on the search engines you show up, or else you are going to loose out! I know from experience that I wasn't showing up on google for a long time, and it probably has had some negative effects on my site! The odds are really low that someone will ever come to your site by searching if you don't show up in the first page of results. It is possible but the deeper they have to dig to find you, the less chance you have of having them come to your site. SEO can be as simple as using the right keywords in linking to different things in your blog posts, and creating good content! Doesn't that sound easy enough? This is a picture of me last halloween when I dressed up like a witch! It is a selfie, which I don't generally do well with, and I got really nice comments about it on facebook! :) And..I am not exactly smiling but hey it's all good! Well it is a non football sunday, so things in my world are pretty mellow! I don't do a whole lot on the off season on sundays! Today I am watching little house on DVD, drinking a little beer, and just being relaxed! I am loving it! I will probably get a few random things in the house done at some point today as well. It is nice to have one day a week that I can just chill! Then, on the same note it feels nice to have an extra workday when football season comes! :) I am so seasonal! Today starts my favorite time of year September is one of my favorite months of the year! Oh, Early on a Saturday! Be SCARED!
*waves* I got up at like 7:30 on a Saturday! believe it or not! I knew had a few things that needed to be done on BE (We are getting ready to start our 30 Day Challenge for september!) Also, I had a couple of paid posts that needed to be up as well! Anyways I am glad to have all of that all caught up! (Well, not so much I Just had 2 paid posts land in my inbox lol) Yesterday I had the most evil headache EVER. I think it might have been a sinus headache! I like to never shook it! Then David & I had a late dinner and had 2 beers and OMG I was snookered! As in mellow! We ended up going to bed super early so I guess me being up so early isn't all that shocking! I want to finish up August BE challenge today, and TRY to get a review up or at least started! We are getting ready to go out to eat lunch, and I wanted to get a regular post in before we left! Coding Language makes the blog world go around!
Even though I can't code in any kind of coding, Coding language kind of does fascinate me! I actually used to code HTML by hand because I didn't know how to copy/paste (stop laughing! lol) but it was actually a good thing because I got familiar with writing the code by hand and I knew what most of the stuff in the code meant! I did this for a very long time! Then, I finally did learn copy and paste and .. yeah I am not saying it was the best idea ha ha! It truly made me lazy. Also, back in the day, there were drag and drop editors when it came to making a website, so there again there was a lazy way out and I took it! I would like more than anything to be able to learn how to code up my own themes one of these days! not that I want to change anytime soon, but the knowledge would be nice to have.
