A Little Bit of Relevant Marley History: David and I were happy to add Marley to our fur baby family last fall.. O.K. I will admit I was a little bit not so excited but it faded instantly after we went and picked her up at the animal hospital! As soon as they handed her to David I melted! Anyways, of course we already knew her since she had been our neighbors dog and everything and she had spent a lot of time with us, but I noticed when we first brought her home she was a bit shaky. I chalked it up to where she had been in the pound for a couple of weeks (to this day I wish her previous owners would have just offered her to us. I can't believe that they put her in the pound and we just got lucky and found her!) and the fact that Sam was probably freaking her out a little bit too! I also kind of figured she might be cold where she had been shaved for having been fixed and mircrochipped and maybe it was even some side affects from the meds they had given her. Oh, and she was … [Read more...]

Review: My Thirty One Everyday Wristlet & Organizing Utility Tote
-----------------------------------------------------------IN Regards to this disclaimer, the word above was mistakenly added and should read items below---------------------------------------- If you don't know this about me by now, it is that I have a MAD obsession with Purses, Totes, and anything related in that category! I have been like this since I was like 2 years old and I even played some game with my uncles ex-grilfriends that I had appropriately named "Pocketbooks", though I don't remember the details of how you play it, just a vague memory from when I was younger. Therefore, when I got the chance to do a review for My Thirty One from the lovely Miss Katie, I was pretty excited! I also have to thank one of my loyal minions, Karyn for helping me get the review to start with! About My Thirty One: If you have been sleeping some where and don't know My Thirty One is an company that sales all sorts of organizational things, including totes and more! Petco Review: Summer 2014 box of awesome goodies for my fur babes
(*items below) If you can't tell by now, My fur babes Sam & Marley J. Are my world! I like to spoil them when I can,so when Petco Offered to send me a box of goodies to review, I couldn't turn it down! I was pretty excited to see what they would send, and as you can see above it was quite a haul of awesome goodies. I was impressed with the variety of things I got, plus it was a good mix of goodies for both Sam and Marley. I know that when it comes to cats there aren't as many choices it seems out there as there is for dogs, so sometimes I feel like Sam gets left out! Here is a collage showing the items in greater detail(I couldn't really get a picture of one of the items- the star wars cat head piece but I will talk about it in a minute :) ) Now, here is the fun part where I will break down the … [Read more...]
Giveaway: $25 Sunoco Gas (and more!) Gift Card!
One thing that David and I seemingly go through a lot of , and I am sure many if not the majority of people do, is GAS for the car! That is our main reason for trying to move closer to his Job (that and traffic!) We are lucky in the fact that I do the whole stay at home domestic blogger goddess thing, that way we don't have to use even more, but still it seems like a bulk of our money that could be for extras gets eaten up by gas! It is such a necessary evil too: You have to have it to get to work, or you don't have money for the rest of your bills.. oh and more gas too lol! Viscous cycle! Which has gotten more fun with David now working 5 days a week instead of 4! Insert my new friends Sunoco! Recently I got a chance to get a sunoco gift card to use to help us out with some of our gas expenses, and they offered me one to giveaway to my readers as well! I was really excited to get our gift card and had planned to use it for traveling to my grandmas, but we ended up going … [Read more...]
Holiday Gift Guide Review: Edible Arrangements Reindeer Sleigh Ride
Ahh the Holiday Season is definitely upon us! I know I started to feel it right around thanksgiving and then it will continue right into the new year. I know when it comes to the holiday the two things I think of are being around family and big meals. Presents are in there but in my world those are far and few between. I am usually lucky to get a trip to the store from my mom and a couple of boxes of random household stuff from my grandma, but I am totally fine with that, it shows that the gifts are something useful for me! About Edible Arrangements: So,When I recently had the chance to review for edible arrangements I was ecstatic! I had experienced them in the past I think it was for my and David's second anniversary, and I was really impressed and I had always hoped that I would get a chance to sample on of them again, but it just hadn't happened quite yet. In case you don't know Edible Arrangements is like the MOST AWESOME alternative to flowers, because well.. it is … [Read more...]
