One thing I do like about living in these apartments (the one like we used to live in back when we first got married, that we recently moved back to) are they have gas heat & water. We seemed to do so much better when we had gas heat & water as opposed to electric heat. I believe the highest bill that we ever got for gas was a little bit over 100 bucks, and that was a february bill that was for January when we had a big ice storm. other than that all of our utilities, including gas barely ever hit 120 or so. When we moved out of my parents in January to the apt. down the road..the first months power bill was like 200 bucks! we quickly rushed off to walmart to buy a space heater, and found one of the ones that was stored away at my moms. The sad thing is my parents live in a house that is like..3x the size of that apt and their bill was barely 100 bucks! We eventually tamed the bill down but i was still hitting like 100+ a month all through the winter months.. I tell you all … [Read more...]

Snapit Screen Capture Software Review
I always want to make screen caps of various things, but I honestly find it to be a pain in the you know what! I mean you have to open up paint, then you print screen, have to paste it, and unless it was the whole screen you wanted captured, you have to cut what you want out, and then save it.That's why you haven't saw me do very many! Lately I have been making twitter backgrounds, and different graphics, and i'm sure you have saw me just simply write go check it out, instead of posting the image here. I can guarantee you that from here on out you'll most likely never see me write that again! Why? I recently got the opportunity to review a software called Snapit Screen Capture, and after reading about it, I actually was excited at the possibility of being able to get to do screen captures! Snapit is a very easy to run program, that turns screen capturing into a simple task, instead of a chore. It runs in your taskbar, which means it is basically ready to go when you … [Read more...]
SmartKnit Socks Review
I have a little secret tidbit about me that I don't really talk about. I am a little bit...slow when it comes to doing relatively simple things sometimes! It isn't any thing big, or really that noticeable unless you know me really well. I honestly don't notice it myself that much. My parents my grandma and david are probably the only people that would be able to notice! I don't really know how to explain it. One thing I have honestly have always had a little trouble with is Socks. The seams on socks to be exact. I can't hardly ever get my socks on right! It is embarassing to be 26 and you feel like you can't get your socks on right! I recently got the chance to review something called SmartKnit socks! They are seamless socks! I was really interested in getting to review them, not only because of my little seam issue, but because they are made to stay on really well! I have a bad habit (I guess It is a bad one) of sleeping in my socks.! I get really cold feet what can i say? Of … [Read more...]
Review: Princereigns Ingrown Hair Serum
I recently got the chance to try Princereigns Ingrown Hair Serum! David is especially plagued with ingrown hairs on his face/neck from shaving. I get them..well in places myself lol. I hate the blasted little boogers! So, when I saw the opp. to eliminate them I was in! Princereigns Ingrown Hair Serum came in a 2oz bottle. That might not sound like a lot, but it really is! The bottle was glass, and kudos to the shipper wrapping it in bubble wrap! I have to say it was wrapped so tightly, it was a task to just get it off! Princereigns Ingrown hair serum is a pale green in colour, and is made of all natural ingredients! Some of the natural ingredients include Lavender, Sage, and Chamomile This makes the serum smell yummy! The scent isn't overpowering by any means. I love when things are made of all natural ingredients! It is light feeling, and non sticky, which is great because I hate when things are heavy and sticky. When things are like that , I swear I can almost feel it … [Read more...]
CSN STORES REVIEW (Sam’s Scratchpost!)
You might remember a week or so ago I posted that I was going to get to review another item from csn stores?! I finally picked something, and got it via UPS yesterday evening. What did I end up getting? I got Sam another scratch post(cat scratcher)! Here is a link to the particular cat scratcher that I chose for him. I was really happy that I ordered it Friday, and I received it Wednesday of this week. (It didn’t ship till Monday, and I even had to change the address before it could be shipped, so very quick indeed!) It also was on clearance and had free shipping! Sam inherited his scratch post from Shadow. We bought it for shadow for Christmas of 2007!! When we moved in with mom, I was going to put it in the yardsale, but when Shadow came back from being gone(when he stayed gone for 3 days when we first took him there) he went straight to it! I decided to keep it, and he continued to have loads of fun with it .Mom even tried to repair it with staples (eek) and some hot … [Read more...]
