Picture software has always been one of my weaknesses! Even though i'm not graphically inclined or anything of that nature! I used to make Soap Opera Collages back in the day and every now and again I will dable with making a button or something for my site or a theme for a message board now and again. The urge hasn't been with me lately.I also seem to be one of those people who can never get a picture resized the proper way without using something like tinypic, which is annoying sometimes when you might want to play with a pic and aren't online, which even happens to me sometimes! Recently, though I got the chance to try an photo software that is more about helping you do even the most basic things with your photos instead of making things out of them! The name of the software is Pearl Mountain Image Convertor I know it doesn't do fancy editing but it has some awesome features such as: convert images to other formats resize rotate crop add watermark apply … [Read more...]
BigFish Games & Nancy Drew Secret of the Old clock review
I always used to like to read Nancy drew books (and actually, who are we kidding I still do lol) I also really liked the series of games for the computer that they had for the computer. I actually bought a good number of them! Unfortunately for me They are not compatible with windows 7,and I haven't really got the money to replace ALL of them. Plus, since I bought mine there have been several new ones made. I recently was contacted by big fish games to do a review of their site/and a game of my choice! I was pretty excited when my first thought was "wonder if they have Nancy drew?" and to find out that they did in fact have Nancy drew! I haven't ever solved one of these games yet, but they seriously draw me right in lol. I actually find I need a guys help on solving some of the puzzles, so my dad and some of my ex boyfriends have came into play in the past! I decided to try out a game that I didn't already have from the Nancy drew collection,Nancy Drew - Secret Of … [Read more...]
Sinky, Flushy & Trashy: Natural House Review
I know this might sound Odd, but one of the things that I really missed about having my own place when we were staying with my parents a while back, was getting to clean my own house! I didn't realize what a chunk of my time that it took up, and that I actually would miss it when I didn't have it to do anymore! This time of the year, I would suppose that cleaning is on everyones mind more than at any other because, of course the great age old "Spring Cleaning" season! Which reminds me I really need to get started on that myself. I am so generally lazy I just keep up with sam's box, vacuuming my rug, my dishes, my clothes and just let everything else go! :) Recently I got the chance to check out some great natural household cleaning product options thanks to Natural House! I had tried out some natural cleaning things one time before and I was really excited to get the chance to try this new line of products with names like Flushy, Trashy, And Sinky! These natural household … [Read more...]
Trying To Concieve Kit Review (Fertibella)
Most of you have probably talked to me or at least explored the site enough to know that I Once Upon A Time had Hpv & Cervical cancer. This all took place back in 2007, but by the end of 2007 I was clear of everything. The most awesome thing was I was even clear of all of the HPV "markers" which hardly ever happens! It was most def. a christmas present to remember (I had my last surgery in november and got the call in mid december). My Dr. who is one of the top 50 obgyn's in the country was awesome and she knew all along that I wanted children,so she did everything she could to ensure that I would be able to have them someday. I was never told that I couldn't have any, but I still haven't been lucky enough to get pregnant yet.Not that long ago I did take a over the counter fertility test that showed that, according to it, I should be able to get pregnant. For some reason lately I have been extra in the mood for a baby. I guess you could call it HIGH BABY FEVER. Even my mom … [Read more...]
Review: The Blog Bank E-Book By Stepfanie Cuevas
Recently I decided that the one thing I absolutely wouldn't review anymore was books! I seem to have a difficult time formulating what I want to say about them. However, when I got the chance to review the Blog Bank E-bookby Stepfanie Cuevas,I was more than happy to get on board! I had seen this book around my blog-o-sphere- realm for a while, and I was really interested in it, but hadn't had the chance to check it out yet. Most of you know that I get lots of freebies, paid posts (ok, not lots of paid posts, but some!) and awesome things to review quite regularly. I have really wanted to concentrate more on ways to make my blog help me some money! I know that there are people out there that pretty much use their blog as a part time- full time job. With the way things are going for David & me right now, the more money I can make from simply using my site, well the better I feel about myself being able to contribute to our income. The Blog Bank E-Book is around 40 … [Read more...]
