Many of you know that I really love to take pictures, but may have noticed I have really not been into it in the last year or so. I don't know if I have gotten spoiled with my iphone camera (probably!) or that I still miss that Nikon I had a few years ago. (Even though, my dad gave me a nikon for my birthday, because he had gotten one for free with his purchase of a rifle scope!) Either way, I am really hoping that in the new year I can get back in the swing of things ! You know something that I have noticed though and well you probably have to, is that ever since everyone started going to Digital photography, guess what? You probably don't print out even a portion of the pictures that you take! I know that personally I have them hoarded on flashdrives, flickr, facebook, memory cards, etc. I can remember as a child when my mom used to send off her film and it was such a surprise when you would get your pics back.. seeing what was what, and what was on that roll even perhaps, … [Read more...]
OCCUFRESH(and other Optics Labortory Products) Review!
You may or may not know that I wear glasses. Well let me rephrase that, I am supposed to wear them but, i'm a bad little gal and don't. Lately, I have been trying to wear them more around the house , especially when I am watching tv and being on the computer. In other words I should be wearing them almost 24/7 lol. I have had glasses since I was in 6th grade. My current pair is way overdue for an upgrade, but... that will probably still be a ways off So in the mean time, I will try to wear them more, and do what I can to keep them in good shape! Of course there are other ways that you can take care of your eyes, if you wear glasses or contacts or not! I recently have gotten more into trying to do more for my eyes. I guess it's kind of silly to say but it's kind of like they do a lot for me, so I need to return the favor! A little bit back I got the chance to review some stuff for my eyes, thanks to Optics Laboratory Products! I recieved a tote full of goodies, including … [Read more...]
SnipSnap Coupon App Review
I recently had the chance to review a coupon app called SnipSnap Coupon App, which is a free app that you can download from the app store, and I was intrigued of course, so I decided to give it a try! Mom and her couponing and thriftyness have really started to get to me. Not that I haven't always been frugal, I mean 99% of my stuff comes from yardsales and thriftshops lol. First of all , this app so far is only for Iphone..Yes, I feel special sometimes for having an Iphone :) This is one of those times! There is an android version in the works, so just be patient and your day will come! Another thing that isn't available quite yet is the option to scan manufacturing coupons, but that is in the works as well, and that really excites me! That will be an amazing addition believe me, if I didn't have to carry all that paper around and worry about keeping things straight, and it was simply right there on my phone..Oh I'd be a couponing machine! So, lets get into the … [Read more...]
[Review] Packaways reusable storage box
I am a collector of many things! I collect everything from children's books, rocks, stickers, purses and the list goes on and on. Of course the biggest thing that I collect are purses. I have tubs and tubs and tubs and boxes of purses! Our Apartment is 2 bedroom townhouse and really awesome as I say all the time! However when you are like me and have more crap than you can shake a stick at you have to have storage tubs! I have a gazillion they are in my closet, David's closet, and the extra bedrooms closet. I could never have enough! I think it has to do with the fact i'm an only child. I like having my goodies! I know I have heard davids family say in passing that We/I have "too much stuff" I always mean to tell them that just because we don't live like squatters and we are lucky enough for the things others have bought us..that's not my fault! Recently I got the chance to review some storage tubs and I was on top of the world! I know you might be like seriously , why would you … [Read more...]
Review: Corkcicle (Neat way to get your wine cool!)
If you have been reading my site for any length of time, you know that wine and alcohol are two of my favorite indulgences! (Even though, I have gave up on the amount that I do drink, for the most part lately!) I still really enjoy them, I just moderate how much that I drink! Recently I got the chance to try out a nifty little wine accessory gadget called the Corkcicle! I was pretty excited when I got the chance, because of my a fore mentioned love of wine and everything associated (glasses and gadgets included). The corkcicle is a nifty little gadget that you can freeze and put down into your wine bottle to help it stay cold while you are drinking your wine! I am not the type of person to keep wine on hand ...I am a run out to the store buy a bottle bring it home and drink. The only time I ever have wine on hand is if I buy the big bottle of red like if I have a kidney infection or something like that, and i'm bad to just sit it in the pantry instead of trying to wedge it into … [Read more...]
PromotionCode.Org: A well organized and updated Promo Code site!
Something I seem to look for every now and again are promo codes! You know, those snazzy little codes you can look up and get a discount with on your purchase ? I probably should look for them more often, especially when shopping online, but.. I tend to always forget! I don’t know why, because we all know how my mom is so obsessed with coupons in the real world (and, believe me if I was a patient person I would be a coupon obsessed crazy hoarder lady just like her!) I recently found a very well organized and updated frequently site called PromotionCode.Org! In my past experiences of looking for promotion codes online, I have found it hard to find what the heck I am actually looking for! I also find that many of those sites to be really poorly organized and with lots of pointless expired forever ago codes! Kind of takes the joy out of searching, you know? Because, it sucks to seek and not to be able to find what you are looking for /or finding out that it is an old code that you … [Read more...]
