I am the queen of sore throats. I swear, one time back when I was going to Appalachian I had the most wicked sore throat known to anyone. I actually had people coming up to me asking me if I was “ the girl with the really bad sore throat” and then they wanted to see it! The back of my throat literally looked like ground up hamburger meat! My Ex-Boyfriend tried to convince me to get my tonsils out but I wouldn’t listen. Back then I had insurance and such. I really wish I’d have listened! Needless to say I have lots of colds, (Blah) and even more so allergies. I recently got another chance to try out some Chloraspetic products and I was like bring it on! I can always use ways to keep the sore throat and coughs at bay! I received a pack of the sugar free Chloraseptic total lozenges in wild cherry. They are awesome! They are for multi-symptoms relief which includes throat pain, suppressing your cough for up to 4hrs , cooling the nasal passages and they are fast acting. Oh, and they … [Read more...]
[review] Luzianne Tea
So it’s June. Summer is kicking in! I myself am not a “Summer Person” which I have mentioned before. I live in the South, and it’s like 100 in the shade most days. However, being a southern girl I do drink a lot of tea, especially this time of the year. My favorite tea is Luzianne Tea of course! Recently they sent me a couple of boxes to review ,including a box of their regular tea and one box of green tea! Also, June is National Iced Tea month! I never knew that! I have to say that I didn’t even know that they made green tea that you could make up at home. I guess I just never thought about it before! I can remember being about 5 years old, and not living in N.C. for very long(I am from Virginia originally) Up there back in the day tea was really not a popular thing (and I’m not sure if it has really caught on or not, let me just say I’m from way way back in the hills lol) Anyways, I can remember when my mom’s sister came down when one of my cousins was born. We were at the … [Read more...]
[review] Carapelli Olive Oil
Olive oil is something that I haven’t used a lot of myself until recently, and I have been guilty of using the blended kind, where it is mostly another type of oil with only a little bit of olive oil blended into it. Which really isn't that great, and at one point, I didn't even realize what I was using! I know that when I was younger my mom would go to Sam’s club or Bj’s warehouse and buy the big containers of olive oil and that it was really expensive, but she would only use it in special things! I always liked the way that it made foods taste however! I recently had the chance to review some Carapelli organic extra virgin olive oil (the site is in italian) and I was really excited about it! I have been wanting to use more olive oil, and this gave me the most awesome opportunity! One thing that I really like about the Carapelli olive oil is that is NATURALLY cholesterol free. I know that my dad has had some problems with his cholesterol , so my mom has been trying to cut him … [Read more...]
[review] Flip Flop Wines Pinot Grigio and Riesling
FlipFlop wines…doesn’t that just sound like the most adorable and summery type name for a wine company? (Oh, and yes there is a new nichole word. I know you all simply adore my “fallish” word that I used back in the fall, so I came up with “summery” ) FlipFlop wines not only has a cute & summery name, but they have a very awesome mission! They donate a pair of shoes to someone in need for every bottle that is sold! They are partnered with soles4souls.org. Personally, If I can help someone out by doing something as simple and buying a bottle of their wine, I am all for it!(because you all know i'm going to be buying wine anyways, might as well support a good cause while i'm at it!) The Flip Flop Wines come in 7 varieties which include: Flipflop Chardonnay Flipflop Riesling Flipflop Pinot Grigio Flipflop Moscato Flipflop Cabernet Sauvignon Flipflop Merlot Flipflop Pinot Noir For this review I got to try the Pinot Grigio and Riesling varieties. Now, I’m … [Read more...]
Purex Insiders Review: Purex With Zout
I am the Stain Queen when it comes to laundry..as in I either have Blood Or Red Wine on everything! Of course, those are two of the most stubborn stains that you can come into contact with. Usually when I encounter these stains, I get them in the wash a.s.a.p and I even wash them more than once..and when all else fails I take them to my mom and make her work her magic on them! When I got the chance to review purex with zout I was pretty excited! I got the Fresh Waters scent, but it is also available in an hypoallergenic free and clear option as well. So what makes this purex so much more special than say regular purex or even any other fabric detergent? It has zout in it. What is zout you ask? Zout is a stain fighter that fights stains with three different enzymes: Protease which helps with your grass and blood stains, amylase which works with your startchy stains like tomato and chocolate and finally Mannanase which works on stains that happen with things that contain a … [Read more...]
Lolly Review
I know that I have said it before, but I’ll say it again. With a lot of women their “fetish/obsession” is with shoes. Mine has always been a tie between panties & purses. I haven’t ever really cared for shoes that much. Anyways, Recently I got the chance to review some panties from a company called Lolly, and of course I was quiet excited about it. Lolly is a great little site that has sexy, cute boyshort panties. They comein a variety of sizes and that come with a variety of messages. One thing that I have always liked about panties, especially panties with messages on them, is you can wear something naughty like “spank me” and only YOU know that you are wearing it…until you are ready (or not) to share it with someone else. It can perk up your whole attitude about your day just to simply pick a pair of undies that have a special message on them! I can honestly say that sometimes for me it is all about the underwear I have on that defines my attitude. I know i'm probably odd, … [Read more...]
