I am super excited to say that after a really long time that I am bringing you all a review! With so many things going on in the past several years including blog/review burnout, my mom and dads wreck, COVID, and more, things on the review front have basically been at a stand still! I still didn't manage to get enough to do a holiday gift guide, but I'm OK with that- one item here and there works for me :) As Usual, A little bit of "history" A few years ago I started seeing some ads on youtube for the blendjet 2 and they were absolutely mesmerizing! I had gotten an regular blender to review (that I still have, and love) but I do have a smaller kitchen and my counter space is pretty well limited/taken up, and I have to keep it in the depths of my cabinet. One of the most frequent times that I use a blender is for smoothies, especially strawberry ones when I have female times- and let me tell you getting down in the floor to dig in the depths of my cabinet for that at that time- not … [Read more...]

So in the last several months (I think maybe since around Mothers day or so) my skin has decided to let me relive my youth so to speak- I have been plagued with white heads and blackheads- mainly on my face! Honestly, I really only had a few of them here and there /on my face when I was a teenager and most of them were blackheads- lets fast forward oh ..15ish years right? For some reason I have been cursed with them! Mostly whiteheads- and I mean they appeared as if from nowhere! I tried to just keep them covered up for the most part - I know, I know, you have to use special concealers and such for that , but I have just been using what I had all along. I just figured it would eventually just.. work its self out you know? I actually don't wear a lot of make up AT ALL- like HARDLY ever so I was pretty sure that wasn't the root of my problem. I actually don't know if there was a root but- it has been "fun" to deal with! Well, fast forward into the early summer months and I was still … [Read more...]
Holiday Gift Guide Review: Teasia Tea #ad #sponsored #review #teasia
My Relevant Back Story (As Usual.. ) In recent years I have drastically cut down on how much Soda that I drink for the most part. I know at one point I had cut it out so much I had lost about 7lbs or so! I wish I could get that kind of mojo back- I was drinking quite a bit more water back then ! I am trying to make some healthier choices with things that I eat and drink- and these teas are super good for you, which I will get into in a little bit! I pretty much drink iced tea and lemonade and i'm trying to get back in the habit of. Something I have became more acquainted with lately though? HOT tea! I have always been curious about it, and didn't really know where to start. It kind of grew on me over time with starting drinking sleepytime tea at night (which kinda helped me on cutting back on the alcoholic stuff) I have also been into stress relief tea, tummy soothing tea, skin helping tea , throat coat tea and now thanks to my latest review item I am getting to try even more … [Read more...]

My favorite things to review as far as things that aren't specifically for me, are those that are for my fur babes Marley & Sam. Of course, with Marley being a dog it seems like she gets a lot more than Sam does + there are all these nifty things for travel when it comes to a dog- and Marley does like to travel! She often travels to my grandparents which is about 5 hours away (I say 5 but usually it's around 4 1/2 hours depending on who is driving/traffic/stops and all of that. A lot of times we do a double duty trip= there and back in the same day too. The last time we did it we traveled with my mom and dad and David & Myself slept the whole way home, but Marley sat straight up in the middle and stared out the windshield lol. I love to go to my grandparents, and other places but I have horrible travel anxiety. I am talking about if there is any tiny thing that I can worry about beforehand and talk myself out of going I won't go- but that is a total other story. I am talking … [Read more...]

A Little Background, As Always (IE, David is a OCD Neat Freak) So You probably know from several posts that I have written about how David is such the neat freak. I mean- in odd ways. Like.. he gets in the floor to clean. He has his own cleaning routines/rituals and he is really particular - so much so that there are a lot of things cleaning and domestic related I just let him do and I don't even bother trying. I mean why waste time right? I mean there are things that I do, i'm not a total lazy bum my any means but I have my things, he has his things and sometimes we cross paths :) One thing that he is really particular about is vacuuming of all things. He literally moves almost every bit of furniture in the living room every weekend when he vacuums, and I actually help him "tear up" and put back all the stuff in the bedroom (the dogs bed, the fan, pillows, throwing the covers up on the bed so they don't drag, that kind of thing) I think he's really particular because we … [Read more...]

A Note About Pictures: I didn't use personal pictures on this review for the simple fact that every time I tried to take them they just didn't look the way I wanted them to! A while back I saw this awesome item showing up on Facebook with people posting how awesome it was and how neat it was. The first thought in my head - as usual, when I see something neat that I would like to have- is I wonder if they would work with a blogger in a review context? A long story short, and it took a little while to be arranged (which I am totally o.k with in case any other brands are looking- if you are on kickstarter or something? No worries, I'll wait- I might follow up a lot- but I'll wait!) It's Hot here in the south- a poeinent tale by Nichole (and introducing bFan!) This particular item was the one and only bFan (you might have seen it when it was the original bedfan- same idea by the same folks, just improved upon) and I was beyond excited to be able to get it to review. I mean- it … [Read more...]
